Ansitz Zinnenberg

Ansitz Zinnenberg is no ordinary hotel. It is both a special, private retreat and a perfect wedding venue offering plenty of privacy and a romantic atmosphere. The manor is located near Schloss Freudenstein, and just like the castle it is set amidst the lush fruit orchards and vineyards on the Überetsch hills south of Bozen.

The recently renovated suites and rooms of Ansitz Zinnenberg offer everything for the perfect blend of historical flair and modern luxury. Antique, wood-carved cupboards, cosy wing chairs and old wall paintings and Persian carpets rub shoulders with natural wooden flooring and ultra-modern bathroom fittings. The Ansitz Zinnenberg manor dates back to the 15^th century. Privately owned for over 50 years now, it has been lovingly restored and decorated.

The Ansitz Zinnenberg manor sits on a former wine estate. Eustachius Franzin had the manor built between 1620 and 1630, and the distinctive Zinnen (crenellations) adorning either side of the façade were not built for reasons of defence, but simply as heraldic decoration.
